On the blog today we have wedding photographer Joe Miles sharing some fun photos and details from his January 2019 Lillibrooke Wedding. Something to lift the mood for us!
Ever wanted to get married in a rustic barn, full of magic and charm? The wedding I covered at Lillibrooke Manor last winter for Amie and Patrick was just that. Amie picked Lillibrooke Manor from a plethora of other barn wedding venues in Berkshire as it really stood out as being special to her. It’s no coincidence that Lillibrooke, a wedding venue in Berkshire has won Thames Valley venue of the year awards as their wedding coordinators leave no stone unturned and run a very tight ship, with their attention to detail being second to none and nothing is too much trouble for their brides and grooms on the day.
Amie (the bride) is a wedding co-ordinator at Kew Gardens, Surrey so obviously had very high standards and expectations so choosing to have her rustic wedding in Lillibrooke was a carefully chosen decision.
On the day Amie surprised Patrick with a look alike Del Boy from the Only Fools and horses sitcom who picked him up from the pub where he was having his pre-wedding drinks in his authentic exhaust pluming Robin Reliant and they arrived in style out of the billowing grey clouds as if they’d just materialised off the set in full character with a Del Boy smoking his cigar complete with sheepskin jacket and polo neck laden down with gold rings and chain!
The Great Barn looked totally outstanding on the day of the wedding, draped in fairy lights across the ceiling, with its rustic wooden beams and chandeliers decorated in greenery, with white roses, gypsophila and eucalyptus on the tables (provided by Kat the florist) giving it an enchanted, white winter feel to the room. The tables were decorated with pine cones with candles on organic wooden bark holders giving the whole spread a very natural (can I say it again?) rustic feel!
