Personalised Features
Personalisation is key to making your wedding your own, but how can one turn the tables to make it the best wedding ever?
For example, having a sweets buffet with jars named after different inside jokes or names of different family or friends can be a fun twist to make your day more entertaining. But don’t just stop at sweets buffets; personalise anything you want! For example, change your table names to different places you’ve had dates with your other half, or put people’s nicknames on the seating plan instead of their full name – it’s the small details that put the cherry on top!
Next? You guessed it… Games!
Games are a great way to have an exciting wedding for all; it makes your wedding unique and encourages friends and family to mingle and have fun. Over the years, Lillibrooke has seen games such as giant Jenga, mini golf and even inflatables! At Lillibrooke Manor, you can also choose where to have your garden games: we have 3 different gardens all suitable for outdoors games.
For those planning a winter wedding, having alternative entertainment, like singing waiters, magicians, selfie mirrors and caricature artists is an excellent alternative to keep guests busy and entertained! Check out our preferred suppliers page for help on finding excellent wedding entertainment and more.
Speeches
Speeches are a classic tradition to weddings across the UK, but to make it one of the highlights of the wedding, we suggest asking your speakers to make their speeches engaging and creative. This is where the fun comes in! Playing ‘wedding speech bingo’ or giving your guests a quiz where they have to find the answers in the speeches.
And finally… Socialise!
As the bride and groom, you should try to speak to all of your guests to celebrate your wedding day with each and every one of them. Showing your appreciation will keep guests happy and pleased they made time to celebrate your day.
Also, speaking about being social – you could take your wedding day to social media. Using a particular hashtag of your choosing will let everyone know you’re tying the knot, but also you can search the hashtag afterwards and see everyone’s photos!
Most importantly, relax and have fun!
