Lauren met Steve at his godson’s birthday party, and thanks to some clever matchmaking by their friends, sparks flew — and the rest was history.

What essential details did you have in mind for your wedding day, including colour schemes, personal touches and running order?
As our special day fell on Valentine’s Day, we wanted our colour palette to feel romantic yet refined. From delicate blush pinks to rich, deep burgundy tones, we chose a spectrum that captured both softness and sophistication — a timeless reflection of love in its most elegant form.

Tell us about your food and drink selections. What made the biggest impression on the day?
The food was simply exceptional. From the perfectly crisp duck spring rolls served during the canapés to the rich, tender beef bourguignon at our wedding breakfast, every course was beautifully prepared and utterly delicious.
